What wine I drank last night

Last night I had a lovely glass of Wairau Cove Sauvignon Blanc. It really is delicious and it's been great buying several cases throughout the Autumn Wine festival. I even had my Mum call me from a holiday in Turkey to order her some before the festival and special offers were over!

I don't think you can go too far wrong with any New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc but I reckon my favourite is still the Brancott Estate version.

Last night I was invited by a friend for home made mince pies. I took along a bottle of the Tesco Croix Milhas Rivesaltes Ambre. This is an absolutely delicious wine, served super chilled. Just hold it in your mouth for a moment and taste all the sweetness of honey and sultanas, the aroma of candied peel and apricot. Perfect with the mince pies.
Spot on, Tesco, with this recommended wine!
