Label lover - Wines of South Africa tasting

I just read this blog and think that having peelable labels on wine which give you more information is an excellent idea. I always want to know more about the wines i buy and this seems to be a good way of giving it to customers.

I couldn't agree more - I think learning a little about the history of your chosen tipple is fascinating. Helps add to the moment too and makes it all seem a little bit more glamourous - I find myself transported from my living room to the vineyards of Italy which is no bad thing!

They also mentioned the idea of using QR codes on bottles so that you could find out more information using your phone. This would be easy for the producers to do as it wouldn't take up much space on the bottle.
