Finding the perfect wine rack

I think, as per Zoe's recent blog, that finding the perfect wine rack can be quite a personal decision.

Does anyone have one that they'd like to share or that they've currently got their eye on?

We'd love to hear all about it....

I have a similar problem to Zoe's. I have limited space in my flat but I am looking for something to store my wine (which my boyfriend says keeps multiplying!) but also looks good. If anyone has any good websites they recommend I look at please let me know. Thanks all, Fiona.

I'm just back from the Bath Christmas market and there was a stall there selling wine 'racks' fashioned from Welsh slate blocks. It may sound a bit wierd but they were actually quite stunning - like a piece of sculpture!

Ah, one day I'd love to have a cellar/larder for wine and preserves. In the meantime, they live in the boxes in the cupboard under the stairs. This had the advantage that it is easy to find the wine I'm looking for.

Hi - I design and make wine racks out of Welsh Slate and Portland Stone. I can make these to any shape or size, cut or natural. I also engrave these for weddings and special events - they are very popular as wedding presents with names and dates on to remember that special day.

The problem with wine racks for me is that I never really have that many bottles of wine to store.

Like most people, I buy a bottle or two then drink them within an evening or two.

Ther is a wine rack built into our kitchen units but it really only gets full at Christmes. It does look good then though, and leaves a warm feeling inside when I admire them as I wash up.
