Wine Fair Brighton

Hi, did anyone else go to the wine fair in Brighton? I had a fantastic time and it was really great to have a chance to try out some new wines. What were your favourites?

I had a great time. I didn't really know where to start but gate-crashed a fascinating Workshop on Chilean wines and then Graham Nash's Wine Walk, which introduced me to some great wines I would never have tasted. Two real surprises for me were an Australian Riesling (Will have to check the name..Tom something?) and German Rielsing by Peter and Peter (I think). Loved three burgundies I tried-again I'll have to check the name of the producer. I thought the tasting glasses in exchange for a donation to the Alzheimers Society was a nice touch, even if they were splattered with the Tesco logo.

Glad you enjoyed it tdarienzo. The Australian Riesling was Tim Adams, love all Tim's wines but this a real favourite, don't remember showing Peter and Peter but it is available online and was at the Fair so could have been. I love Burgundy, would defo be my desert island region. Perhaps the ones you tried were from Blason de Bourgogne?
